Happy New Year! I can't believe Christmas vacation is coming to an end. 😔 However, I am excited to get back to teaching my tiny humans tomorrow, but not excited about having to put on actual pants 5 days a week.
Today I was getting around to changing over our Class Dojo avatars to some winter themed cuties and decided to do a quick tutorial for you all!
I've gotten a lot of questions on how I'm able to do this and I promise you it's much simpler than it appears and your kiddos will be impressed at your tech savvy skills. 😁
Video Tutorial
For those of you not into video watching, follow these simple steps below:
Step 1: Log into your main Class Dojo Page.
Step 2: Options (drop down menu).
Step 3: Edit Class.
Step 4: Click any student. Click the student's personal avatar.
Step 5: Click the drop down menu from the class dojo monsters (already selected).
Step 6: Create new set.
Step 7: Upload (you can use files you already have on your computer or find some free images you'd like to use online).
Step 8: Upload and save new set.
Step 9: Chose the avatar you'd like for that student and press done.
Step 10: Save and presto-you're done!
My students LOVE seeing their new Class Dojo Avatar and it spruces up your classroom management just a touch to keep it interested enough to motivate your students! I also update our behavior chart as well throughout the year.
If you use Class Dojo in your classroom, I highly suggest giving this a try! It's super simple and you can use it year after year!
